How I busted Con men In Nairobi streets, My Narrow Escape.
*Copy paste and share if you can, this is My true ordeal, the admin of Uhondopap *
Today morning 6:58 am being the Thursday 11/12/2012 could have possibly turned out to be the worst day ever of my life in these streets of Nairobi. I had just driven my neighbors car from the estate to a parking lot along Kenyatta Avenue then picked up my laptop bag and handed the Keys to her and walked towards my campus just across the streets ; The University of Nairobi, as I was to some exams later on in the day.
Just seconds away from the campus grounds on the University way via Koinange street, two men whom I suspect were trailing me from Kenyatta Avenue, abruptly stopped by my side as if waiting for the oncoming vehicles to pass. As we crossed over, one of them, a middle aged man dropped something that looked like bundled cash in an envelop with a rubber band nicely tied around it with a green cash deposit slip attached to it on the highway barrier. I instinctively decided to shout at him to get back and pick it up, while still shouting, the other partner promptly approached me and picked it up swiftly.
The middle aged man had dashed from the scene so fast as if chasing to be the first to deposit cash at the bank as we always do, the bank is just meters away, opposite Central police station. My efforts to call him back bore no fruit. While still figuring out my next move the partner who was at the time holding the 'cash' suggested that we split the 'cash' somewhere away from the public glare. All this time I perceived him as any other pedestrian passerby whom our meeting with was just coincidental.
I refuted the idea of sharing the loot and asked him to hand over the money to me ; I wanted to chase man to hand over the the money to him as I thought he was heading to the bank which was so close to where we were. He resisted the move and begged to stay with the money and even offered me the largest share if I wanted part of it. The man was looking so pale and malnourished, I figured out that he could be on those underpaid workers at the construction sites in Westlands. I told him to go because I was not interested and I was at the campus gate already and I could do not do anything more to rescue the cash.
The man refused to go and instead suggested that I take a portion just to be sure I was not tricking him or going to implicate him if anything happened later on. He suggested that we head to a nearby hotel as that would be away from the public glare. I noticed the insincerity in the man when as he strangely tried to remove a handkerchief which I now believe might have hard sleep inducing drugs because it was a cold morning, and the sweat were non-existent . I asked him to get in the campus so that he could buy me a cup of coffee, he refused claiming he lacked student I.D, I explained to him that he needed no Id, but it fell on deaf ears. I got angry and grabbed the man by his collar and ordered him to hand over the money to me. As soon I did that, I noticed his phone ringing and from a far I could see his accomplice standing. He handed over the envelop and when I opened the it there were a pack of Newspaper cuttings inside. The man slipped and ran away towards the round about while the accomplice dashed towards Globe round about .
I know these cons change day and night but Please warn a brother or a sister you don't have to share the post but warn someone.I just thank God for that narrow escape from the con men my laptop and my phones would have been history by now . My lady Friend suffered the loss of her Laptop a few months when she was drugged by this cons.

My Notable Little passion for the Chinese and their Africa invasion, in Kenya. Part 2
The Chinese can be the dumbest guys if they think they can read Bible leafs to us then colonize these black continent like the white men did years back. Every time I see posters spread across the streets of Nairobi and the billboards across the country advertising a Chinese led christian crusade, I ask myself so many questions. How genuine are these Chinese led summons and how relevant are they to the Kenyan population? Are these not a bunch of poverty stricken Chinese from the remote villages in Hawaii or Shanghai trying hard to make a living in the black continent? Have Africans run short of preachers while the Chinese overflow with the Preachers hence the 'donation'? The china men are cunning and ambitious but colonizing Africa would be a white elephant dream. Chinese men must realize that the white house in America today is inhabited by a black man whose dad was once a colonial subject.
Even as the investigation as to what the 77 Chinese nationals were doing in a Runda house with sophisticated communication gadgets, our 'digital' government must realize that Cyber attack is real and no amounts of PR which restore normalcy if nothing is done early to avert such. How could the radio signals go undetected for so such a long time? My Instinct tells me that the Chinese government are increasingly installing spies across Africa and due to our weak cyber security in conjunction with our callous politicians and government officials, these Chinese men have access to too much critical information about us putting us to serious risks ; from financial to security risk. What if these money hungry China men trade our information to the Terrorists, will that not Jeopardize our efforts to secure the nation.
It is time that our Kenyan government stopped going to bed with the Chinese government and start to act swiftly to avert any risks or threats these foreigners pose to Us. We must also stop spoon-feeding these men and women in our land. I spotted a China supervising some Kenyan men 'maintaining' the Thika-Superhighway. Are Kenyans Citizens so dump that the government cannot entrust them with a role of supervising the Slashing or to Lawn grass, weed flowers and removal of sand deposits on the highways to a point that such a task is entrusted to some China man to watch over and paid out a hefty paycheck at the expense of Jobless Kenyans struggling to put a meal on their table. Is that what we get from friendly partners who are willing to work with us Mr President ?
Another sickening incidence was Installation of Cameras along the major streets of Nairobi, the contract was awarded to some Chinese company, to date the Cameras are as dead as ever and once in a while you will spot Chinese men climbing up on them to 'repair' them. How do you even repair what is not being used in the first place ? I don't want to imagine the huge payouts these men get for such a 'tedious hard work' at the end of the month. There are jobless graduates from our local universities who can handle such tasks and the government of Kenya must act now and stop going to bed with these Foreigners.
Let the Chinese handle what we can't handle for now like manufacturing the Fake-cloned electronics, phones radios , television, vehicles, tall fake buildings and roads. These Chinese nationals must be closely watched by the government of Kenya, We cant help you sought out your poverty and joblessness at a time when a young nation like Kenya is struggling with such issues too. You must not pretend to be preaching roasting maize and hawking and the above mentioned tasks in peace. Your time is up.

Raila under pressure to replace the Late Senator Kajwang'
Just a few days after the burial of the late Senator Otieno Kajwang' the succession is slowly heating as to who will be best suited to replace the late senator. With no official communication from the Party on the elections, CORD leaders led by Odinga's strong holds' Member of Parliament representing Kibra Constituency Kennedy Okoth via his Twitter handle, he posted "My first choice for Homa Bay Senator is the Rt. Hon Raila Amolo Odinga. There comes a time ; the time is now " His sentiments were echoed by Nyatike Mp Anyanga otieno when he held a press briefing in Nairobi.
Some of the leaders who supported the move said that his vast experience as political leader is much needed in the Kenya political arena since he has served in the government for along time and he delivered his promises to the people and it would be a honorable thing to do adding to the fact that the Late Kajwang' was one of Raila's closest allies
However a section of the supporters did not support the move claiming that Raila is best set to serve at his capacity as the defacto opposition Leader rather than as just a mere senator with some claiming that Odinga hails from Siaya County and must not indulge in politics of Homa Bay county where the Late senator was representing at the time of his death.
Consultations are on going within the party as to who will best represent Homa Bay county after the demise of their senator.

A hillarious failed Woman stripping attempt at a bus stop in Nairobi
Few days after a spate of attacks on Kenyan women by rogue men, who shamelessly stripped the women naked in public places leaving them with the worst form of mental torture and the government coming out to condemn such barbaric acts, the new developments with grant women with something to smile about and a lesson to the rogue men to wine about that Karma is a bitch.
About 10 men are in police custody including a police office who was accused with attempt to strip as school girl in pretense of in-descendent dressing. There are 241 buses plying the Githurai route that have been grounded after one of the Sacco buses was allegedly involved in the stripping of a woman wi
th the Men even threatening to insert a bottle on the woman private parts.
On Tuesday evening a drunk Tout tried to strip a woman and it ended tragically as the woman whom he had approached sprayed large concentrated amounts of paper spray on his eyes forcing him to flee into the corridors while wailing at the top of his voice. There was little help coming as most of the crew were engaged due to the fact that it was a rush hour and they were busy picking passengers. I took the efforts of a friend who works as a loader ''Mkokoteni guy' who rushed him to a nearby hospital.
This might just spell the solution to stripping as the president says the security begins with you. So ladies why don't you just carry a paper spray or two and just walk as you wish the #MYDRESSMYCHOICE way. Maybe lessons would have been learnt at the end of the day and the preservative primitive men driven out of the towns back to the village.
